Coir substrate export

( Intro )

Verda sells by the container. The site takes a specification, not an order.

Verda exports coir growing media from Sri Lanka. Its buyers are wholesalers, ordering by the container.

( The brief )

No prices, no cart, and buyers who arrive knowing what they want.

  • Priced against a specification

A container of substrate is quoted on format, volume, destination and terms. A checkout would ask the wrong question.

  • Found by importers, not shoppers

The buyer is a wholesaler searching for a supplier. Every page had to read as one, to them and to a search engine.

( What we did )

Ten pages, a quotation desk, and nothing loaded from anyone else.

  • Design and build

The site from a blank domain: home, the range, five formats, about, contact and the quotation desk.

  • Structured for search

Organization and WebSite data on every page. Product and Breadcrumb data on each of the five formats.

  • A quotation desk, not a contact form

Sixteen fields in eight groups, three of them required, and an upload for the buyer's own spec sheet.

  • Verda's domain only

Every request the page makes goes to Verda's own domain. No third-party scripts.

( The range )

Five formats, each one somewhere a buyer can be sent.

  • The cocopeat bricks page: the product photographed large, with its specification, packing detail and a request-a-quote action beneath.

    A page per format

Husk chips, cocopeat bricks, growing disks, ready-made grow bags and organic blend bags, each at its own route rather than a row in one list.

  • The product range page: the five coir formats as cards, each with its own name, description and route.

Written for the buyer, not the shelf

Product and Breadcrumb data on every format, so a search for a supplier can find one.

( The quotation desk )

The enquiry form asks what an exporter actually needs to quote.

  • The request-a-quote page: “Format, volume, destination — just three fields required”, over a form that opens on the buyer's details and their business type.

    Specification, not a message box

Volume, packaging format, technical parameters, timeline, private-label interest, and a file upload for a spec sheet.

  • The lower half of the quote form: order volume, packaging format and technical parameters, then destination country, port and Incoterm, then export documentation and a spec file upload.

    Built for shipping

Destination country, destination port and required export documentation, so an enquiry arrives ready to price rather than starting a thread.

( Outcome )

The range is browsable and every enquiry arrives as a specification.
